Jason began drumming at the age of 17. This was during the time of large 12 piece drum kits with 2 bass drums and huge metal drum racks. Jason assembled his first drum kit by combining two 5-piece CB-700 kits and a pieced together drum rack. Jason taught himself to play drums while listening to the popular hard rock and metal bands of the 90’s. Some of his influences include Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Blas Elias (Slaughter) and Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp).
Over the last 20 years Jason has played with many cover/original bands, and has enjoyed playing different styles of music including dance, rock and country. Jason currently performs using Roland electronic drums and QSC powered cabinets.
